The fruit of the Spirit is goodness.
Be therefore imitators of God, as beloved children. — Love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you, that you may be children of your Father who is in heaven. For he makes his sun to rise on the evil and the good and sends rain on the just and the unjust. — Therefore be merciful, even as your Father is also merciful.
For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth.
But when the kindness of God our Savior and his love toward mankind appeared, not by works of righteousness which we did ourselves, but according to his mercy, he saved us through the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit, which he poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior. — Yahweh is good to all. His tender mercies are over all his works. — He who didn’t spare his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how would he not also with him freely give us all things?
