If children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ.
If you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s offspring and heirs according to promise.
See how great a love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God! For this cause the world doesn’t know us, because it didn’t know him. — You are no longer a bondservant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ. — Having predestined us for adoption as children through Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his desire.
